SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - A Sioux Falls man is accused of pointing a handgun at two people delivering a newspaper to his home.

Police spokesman Sam Clemens says 72-year-old Allan Dean Hansen allegedly walked outside his home and pointed a .357 revolver at the workers on Wednesday morning.

He was arrested on a charge of aggravated assault after the delivery workers called police.

Clemens says Hansen admitted to pointing his gun at the workers because there had been a lot of criminal activity in the area and he wanted to figure out who they were.
