NEW YORK (AP) - An NYPD air-sea rescue crew helped get a barge worker to the hospital after he was stricken with a heart problem off the shore of Breezy Point.
The Staten Island Advance (https://bit.ly/1CxDmlU ) says police video captured some of the dramatic rescue on Thursday afternoon.
A harbor unit paramedic gave the man CPR as an NYPD helicopter lowered a scuba team member in a rescue basket.
The CPR continued as the patient was raised into the helicopter and rushed to the hospital.
He was listed in critical but stable condition Thursday night at Staten Island University Hospital.
