LAKEWOOD, N.J. (AP) - Authorities say a Lakewood man stabbed his housemate.

Police found a 66-year-old with stab wounds to his upper back, arm and hand outside a home on Laurel Avenue Thursday night.

Detective Sgt. Greg Staffordsmith tells the Asbury Park Press (https://on.app.com/1pRKEgd ) the man said he was attacked by his housemate, 61-year-old Albert Thompson.

Thompson is facing aggravated assault charges.

The victim, whose name has not been released, was taken to a hospital. His condition is not available.
