CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - The Natrona County Sheriff’s Office says a 48-year-old man who shot and killed his mother before turning the gun on himself on Casper Mountain left a suicide note.
Investigators say David Benaderet killed 76-year-old Loretta Benaderet in a car at the Tower Hill Campground before fatally shooting himself. Their bodies were found Thursday afternoon.
Sgt. Mike Steinberg did not say specifically what was in the suicide note, but he told The Casper Star-Tribune (https://bit.ly/1qDc5JZ ) that phone interviews with out-of-town family members point to disputes between the mother and son as a motive in the shootings.
