GRABILL, Ind. (AP) - Authorities say an old grain mill being used as storage for a lumber yard was destroyed by a massive fire in northeastern Indiana.

Multiple fire departments were called Tuesday night to battle the blaze in Grabill. WANE-TV (https://bit.ly/1C5zSmI ) reports the first firefighters to arrive at the scene found the mill fully engulfed in flames.

Northeast Fire Department Lieutenant Kris Miller says crews attempted to control the flames by removing lumber from the area. He says the size of the building and the lumber inside were the biggest obstacles in fighting the fire.

Miller says fire officials believe no one was inside the building when the fire started, and no injuries have been reported.

An investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
