ATLANTA (AP) - Georgia first lady Sandra Deal and state officials are kicking off a water safety campaign at the Georgia Capitol.

Department of Early Care and Learning officials say Deal, Commissioner Mark Williams and others will speak on water safety in the north wing of the state Capitol Wednesday at 10 a.m.

Department officials say officials from the Georgia Department of Public Resources, public health and human resources will also be on hand giving out water safety materials, performing safety demonstrations and more.
