COLFAX, La. (AP) - The Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to donate used bicycles that will be fixed up and given to needy children in the parish.

Sheriff Steven McCain tells The Town Talk (https://townta.lk/1BP3ANM ) the bikes are being accepted through May 15 at the Sheriff’s Office in Colfax.

The bikes will be taken to the “bike shop” at the Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola to be completely refurbished.
