GREENLAWN, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities on Long Island say they’ve launched a hate crime investigation after a burglary targeting a 92-year-old woman.

According to Newsday (https://nwsdy.li/1bPAckq ) police believe there could be other victims.

Two suspects are now facing charges. Suffolk County police say they got into the victim’s Greenlawn apartment by pretending they were collecting church donations.

Suffolk police say it’s a hate crime to target people who are over 60.

The incident took place Monday afternoon at an affordable housing complex for seniors.
