MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) - Two major agenda items of the 2015 legislative session are up for debate in the Vermont House, but they’re being taken up in reverse order from what was planned earlier.

The House is taking up legislation retooling Vermont’s school districts and the way education is funded on Wednesday morning.

A bill to address pollution of Vermont’s waters, particularly Lake Champlain, is being taken up later in the day.

That’s the reverse of what had been anticipated Tuesday, and is being attributed to key lawmakers on the water bill being away on Wednesday morning.
