RAHWAY, N.J. (AP) - It seems it will take a lot more than a collapsed roof to stop one New Jersey church from holding services.

The Elim United Methodist Church, a Korean congregation, and the Spanish Manantial de Vida Church were scheduled to hold outdoor services Sunday in Rahway, a week after the collapse injured about a dozen people.

Between 75 and 100 people were in the 1850s-era church at the time of the collapse. Many were young children.

Fire officials told Gannett New Jersey (https://mycj.co/1FCsMh3) that the collapse could have been caused by structural failure. Gannett reports the building has been condemned by the city.

The Korean congregation’s leader said both groups also have found temporary homes.
