GAINESVILLE, Ga. (AP) - Sheriff’s officials say a medical examiner has found a gunshot wound on the body of a Buford man who was discovered by a fisherman in Lake Lanier in February.

Authorities in February identified the man as 25-year-old Kelly Nash, who had been reported missing in early January. His family had offered a reward for information on his whereabouts after he disappeared from his Gwinnett County home.

WSB-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1ErjfrB) that Hall County sheriff’s officials declined to comment on whether foul play is now suspected in the case. Sheriff’s deputies told the Atlanta station that they’re awaiting the official report from the medical examiner before releasing the cause and manner of death.
