NEWPORT, Ore. (AP) - Authorities say a fugitive from Washington was arrested at a home in Otis, Oregon.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office says 29-year-old Chester William Smith Jr. was wanted on a felony warrant for possession of a controlled substance.

He was booked into the county jail Sunday night on a charge of being a fugitive from another state. Bail was set at $150,000.
