George Washington extends athletic director’s contract

WASHINGTON (AP) - Patrick Nero has signed a contract extension to remain George Washington’s athletic director through the 2020-21 academic year.

The school announced the deal Monday.

Nero was hired by GW in April 2011. He is the chair of the Atlantic 10 council of athletic directors.
