LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - State transportation officials say drivers should prepare for lane closures at the intersection of interstates 430 and 630.

The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department on Friday announced the construction at the interchange named “Big Rock.” Portions of Interstate 430 northbound and Interstate 630 westbound will be closed Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Parts of those highways will be reduced to one lane overnight.

Construction crews will remove a temporary barrier wall and work on a flyover.

Officials say drivers should be careful when traveling through the work zones.
