LOS ANGELES (AP) - A minor earthquake that was felt in parts of the Los Angeles region Sunday night was smaller and deeper than initially estimated.

Seismologists on Monday downgraded the magnitude of the 9:17 p.m. tremor from 3.5 to 3.3.

The quake occurred at a depth of about 7 miles, a mile deeper than originally measured.

Quakes of such small magnitude are unlikely to cause any harm, and none was reported.
