OPELIKA, Ala. (AP) - Sheriff’s officials are investigating the fatal shootings of a man and a woman in Lee County.

Authorities late Sunday evening identified the two victims as 47-year-old Bonnie Christine Partridge; and 42-year-old Kenneth Wayne Partridge, both of Phenix City.

The Opelika-Auburn News reports (https://bit.ly/1z9L4yD) that the shootings happened around noon Sunday on a county road known as Ridge Road, near Opelika.

After the two victims were found, law officers began searching for 22-year-old Ricky Carl Clark II of Phenix City.

Lee County Sheriff Jay Jones said Clark was related by marriage to the two victims. Authorities say his body was found under a modular home, a few feet from where the victims had been found earlier. Jones tells the Opelika newspaper that it appeared Clark died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
