MAPLE VALLEY, N.D. (AP) - Residents of the Maple Valley School District in southeastern North Dakota are deciding for the second time in four months whether to build a new high school.

An election is scheduled Tuesday on a $10.3 million bond measure. KOVC radio reports that if it’s approved, the school district will build a new high school in Tower City and turn the existing one into an elementary school.

The measure was narrowly defeated in a January election. Fifty-eight percent of voters supported it, but 60 percent approval is required.
