DUCHESNE COUNTY, Utah (AP) - Authorities say a Lehi couple that was reported missing last week has been found dead in an apparent murder-suicide.

The Daily Herald newspaper in Provo reports (https://bit.ly/1FH7fUz ) that Milinda Wright and Gordon Wright were reported missing Friday night by the woman’s father. He told police the couple had a cabin in a rural, secluded area in Duchesne County.

When police arrived there to the cabin to check on the couple, nobody answered the door. Deputies found a way inside and discovered the dead bodies of the couples.

Both had gunshot wounds to their heads.

Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Jeremy Curry says investigators believe Gordon Wright shot his wife and then turned the gun on himself.

The shooting is under investigation.
