NEW LONDON, Conn. (AP) - In a story April 10 about commencement at the Coast Guard Academy, The Associated Press erroneously reported its size as compared to the nation’s other four service academies. The Coast Guard Academy is the fourth-largest, not the smallest of five.

NEW LONDON, Conn. (AP) - President Barack Obama will visit Connecticut next month to deliver a commencement address at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.
The graduation ceremony is scheduled for May 20 at the academy in New London.
By tradition the president delivers a commencement address at one of the U.S. service academies on a rotating basis. The White House says the president is honored to participate in the 134th commencement at the Coast Guard Academy.
Among the nation’s five service academies, only the Merchant Marine Academy is smaller than the Coast Guard Academy. Cadets receive full scholarships and graduate with an obligation to serve five years in the Coast Guard.
