MONTICELLO, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas State Police say a Monticello man was killed after he lost control of his pickup and it traveled down an embankment.

The Saturday night accident occurred just west of Monticello.

A preliminary crash report says 35-year-old Luis Gonzalez was driving east on Barkada Road when he lost control of his 2001 Toyota pickup.

The report says Gonzalez was ejected from the vehicle. He was taken to Drew Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
