DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - Authorities say a Polk County official has been arrested.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office says Ryan Scrivner, a civilian detention officer supervisor at the Polk County Jail, was arrested Friday on a stalking charge. Details in the case weren’t immediately available.

The sheriff said Monday that an administrative probe will be conducted to review the allegations surrounding the charge.

Scrivner was placed on administrative leave pending investigation. He has been employed at the jail since 2008.
