SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Authorities say a store employee in Taylorsville was tied up and left in a back room during an armed robbery.

The Deseret News reports (https://bit.ly/1ykH9Ux ) that Unified Police Lt. Justin Hoyal says the robbery took place at a Family Dollar Store at about 11 a.m. Monday.

Hoyal says a pair of suspects pulled out a gun and demanded the woman at the counter give them cash from two safes. They tied her up with TV cable and left her in a room in the back.

The store clerk wasn’t hurt. Hoyal says she was able to untie herself and call police.

Authorities believe the suspects ran out the back door and jumped in a car.

Police are looking for the two suspects.
