HERMISTON, Ore. (AP) - The Umatilla School District will have grief counselors in schools Monday after the weekend death of a teacher in an automobile accident.

Umatilla County Sheriff Terry Rowan says 39-year-old Elisabet Flores was driving her husband and 13-year-old son late Saturday when her vehicle left the roadway and crashed into a fence near the Hermiston rural fire station.

Flores, a first-grade teacher, died at Good Shepherd Medical Center in Hermiston. Her passengers were not hurt.
