LINDSAY, Calif. (AP) - Authorities say two fires in less than a week at a Northern California gentleman’s club are suspicious.
KFSN-TV (https://abc30.tv/1aOybnV ) reports Tuesday that a fire started before dawn Tuesday at the Saints and Sinners club in Lindsay in Central California.
Fire crews quickly controlled the fire but there was smoke damage in the building.
The station reports the club has been closed for more than a year after their business license renewal was denied by the county tax collector. The move came after the sheriff’s office found problems with underage drinking and drug use. The club appealed the decision. Their attorney says the club has fixed the issues.
Officials say the Tuesday fire was the second this month. Details on the first fire were not available Tuesday.
The club was slated to reopen last week, but the reopening has been delayed.
