RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - A Richmond woman has been sentenced to 13 years in prison for her role in the fatal shooting of a jewelry store clerk during a 2014 robbery.
The Richmond Times-Dispatch (https://bit.ly/1CQ8zxf) reports 29-year-old Jermeake M. Gorham was sentenced Monday in Richmond Circuit Court for her guilty plea to second-degree murder.
Richmond prosecutor Traci Miller says Gorham was a key witness in the case that netted three other murder convictions.
Fifty-year-old Jesse G. Edmond previously was sentenced to life plus 18 years, 26-year-old Anthony J. Lenard received a 50-year sentence and 25-year-old Paul L. Townes Jr. was sentenced to 22 years and nine months.
Officers found 29-year-old Muhammad H. Baig dead inside Victoria Jewelers last May 5.
