CINCINNATI (AP) - Another motion picture to be filmed in the Cincinnati area is set to begin production this spring.

The Greater Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky Film Commission said Monday that filming on “Goat” is scheduled to begin May 4. Local media outlets report that “Goat” is based on a memoir written by Brad Land about two brothers who pledge a fraternity and go through hazing.

The commission says actor and producer James Franco of Rabbit Bandini Productions will join the Killer Films company in producing the movie. The film is to be directed by Andrew Neel.

Killer Films previously produced “Carol” and “The Blunderer” in Cincinnati in 2014.

The film commission works to attract and promote film, television and commercial production throughout the Cincinnati and northern Kentucky area.
