MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Authorities have identified a 21-year-old Bloomington woman who was fatally shot in south Minneapolis over the weekend.

The Hennepin County medical examiner’s office announced Sunday night that Ayan Abdi Abdulahi died of a single gunshot wound to the head. She was found about 2 p.m. Saturday by officers responding to a report of shots fired at a duplex.

The Star Tribune (https://strib.mn/1Hn1hY6 ) reports one of the building’s residents called police when he discovered the body after waking up from a nap.

Abdulahi was pronounced dead at the scene. No arrests have been made in her death.

The shooting marked the city’s seventh homicide so far this year.
