EL DORADO, Ark. (AP) - An Arkansas man has pleaded guilty in the 2014 death of a man who witnesses say was killed in front of his 6-year-old daughter.
The El Dorado News-Times (https://bit.ly/1IItURm ) reports Todd Moody pleaded guilty Monday to murder in the first degree for the killing of 37-year-old Titus Edwards. He was sentenced to 40 years in prison for the slaying, as well as additional time for firearm and drug-related charges.
El Dorado police say they found Edwards on the sidewalk in front of a residence after responding to a call about a shooting. He was pronounced dead at the scene from multiple gunshot wounds.
Court documents say Moody confessed to killing Edwards the day after the incident. According to authorities, three witnesses said Moody shot Edwards as daughter watched from a nearby parked car.
