CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Experienced hunting and fishing guides plan to discuss their work at a free presentation at the Wyoming State Museum.
The presentation is part of the Art of the Hunt exhibit at the museum. It’s set for 7 p.m. April 23.
The panel will include Mike Patterson of Hack’s Tackle and Outfitters, Angie Denny of Table Mountain Outfitters and Craig Oceanak of Timberline Outfitters. They will discuss training and skills, the kinds of work they do and what they enjoy about it.
Annie Hatch, a folklorist at the Wyoming Arts Council, will moderate the panel. She has researched hunting and fishing traditions in the state.
The program is sponsored by the UW American Studies Program, the Wyoming Arts Council, and the Wyoming State Museum, with funding from the Wyoming Humanities Council.
