KENNETT, Mo. (AP) - A shooting in southeast Missouri that killed one person and left another victim badly injured remains under investigation.
The Kennett Daily Dunklin Democrat (https://bit.ly/1JGLnau ) reports that police are still trying to determine who fatally shot William Thomas Jr. early Saturday in Kennett. The Dunklin County Major Case Squad has joined Kennett police in the investigation.
Police received a call about 1 a.m. of shots fired near a cafe and found that Thomas and Taneka Parker of Kennett were both shot several times. Parker is hospitalized but a condition report was not immediately available.
