JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) - State lawmakers have canceled a planned joint session to consider for confirmation members of Gov. Bill Walker’s Cabinet and his appointments to boards and commissions.
The Senate majority press secretary said the decision to cancel was made by House and Senate leadership.
The joint session had been scheduled for Friday, two days before the scheduled end of the 90-day legislative session. A new date wasn’t immediately set.
