LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - Authorities have taken into protective custody a man who fell from an overpass onto a truck that had stopped below on Interstate 80 in north Lincoln.

The Lincoln Journal Star reports (https://bit.ly/1CF5zor ) that the 25-year-old man was seen hanging from a Superior Street span around 7 p.m. on Monday. He landed on a westbound semitrailer that had halted, and he suffered only minor injuries.

Police say the man was having a mental health crisis.
