ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - New York Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli’s tax return shows that he made $146,900 from his state salary in 2014 plus $11,452 from dividend income, roughly double his investment income from the year before.
DiNapoli reported dividends including $3,595 from AT&T and $5,917 from Vodafone and a capital gain of $922 from selling some stock.
The return released Tuesday shows he made $6,481 in charitable contributions, including $1,745 to the St. Aloysius Church.
As a single tax payer, he paid federal income taxes of $32,573 with a $5,399 refund due.
The comptroller is the sole trustee for the $181.7 billion pension plan for state and municipal workers
