PHILOMATH, Ore. (AP) - Authorities say an inmate walked away Tuesday from a Mill Creek Correctional Facility work crew near Philomath, Oregon.

The state Department of Corrections identified the inmate as 36-year-old Jason Touch. He was last seen wearing blue jeans with the word “inmate” stenciled on the knee in orange, and a blue shirt with the word “inmate” stenciled in orange on the front and back.

Touch has been in prison since 1998 on a charge of first-degree robbery out of Multnomah County. His earliest release date is January 13, 2019.
