RAHWAY, N.J. (AP) - Authorities say several parked vehicles were damaged in an accident involving a tanker truck on a residential roadway in northern New Jersey.

Rahway police say four cars were damaged overall in the accident, which occurred around 5:50 a.m. Tuesday on West Inman Avenue. But no injuries were reported.

The tanker truck apparently struck a sport utility vehicle, which flipped over and skidded on its roof. The tanker then struck and rolled on top of a car that was forced into another car. The latter car then spun around and struck a car in a neighbor’s driveway, knocking the bumper off that vehicle.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
