PITTSFIELD, Mass. (AP) - A Pittsfield man who argued with and spit on store employees, threatened police, and grappled with hospital employees during a Black Friday rampage has been sentenced to six months behind bars.

Authorities say Derek Quintero went to a Walmart in the early morning hours of Nov. 28, and argued with store employees about use of a motorized scooter. Police were called and he spit on an employee as he left the store, beat his head against the divider in the police cruiser and threatened officers and their families. He was taken to the hospital, where he continued to be combative, and it took six hospital employees to remove him from an ambulance.

The Berkshire Eagle (https://bit.ly/1FQ2Tb2) reports that Quintero said a change in medication led to his behavior.
