Woman killed in single car accident in Metairie

METAIRIE, La. (AP) - Jefferson Parish sheriff’s deputies are investigating a fatal accident on the South Interstate 10 service road and Bonnabel Boulevard.

The accident happened around 1:45 a.m. Tuesday.

Deputies say 57-year-old Madelyn Apken, of Metairie, died at the scene when her car overturned.
