LOGAN, Utah (AP) - A Utah State University fraternity voluntarily suspended after a former chapter president was accused of sexually abusing a female partygoer has resumed activities.
The current president of Pi Kappa Alpha says the group has expelled 26-year-old Ryan Wray, who is facing a felony sexual abuse charge after he was accused of inappropriately touching a woman who passed out at a party in Logan.
Police say Wray had been assigned to keep watch over intoxicated people at a frat party just before spring break when the assault happened.
The fraternity also gave educational presentations on sexual abuse to all members.
Fraternity president Alex Souvall tells the Logan Herald Journal (https://bit.ly/1HBiv45) that the group will hold members accountable if any similar incidents happen in the future.
