SOUTH JORDAN, Utah (AP) - A 44-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of mail theft after police said she was found in South Jordan with hundreds of pieces of mail belonging to over 125 people.

Police say Jennifer Cutsforth of Draper was arrested Thursday after witnesses observed someone driving on the wrong side of the street, stopping at mailboxes and pulling items from them.

Officer Samuel Winkler says a search of her van found mail belonging to 127 people living from Eagle Mountain to Salt Lake City. She also is accused of being in possession of many credit cards bearing the names of other people.

Winkler praised the witnesses, saying they quickly notified police and observed the suspect from a safe distance to assist in the arrest.
