CASCADE LOCKS, Ore. (AP) - Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office says a rescue team is helping a female hiker who reportedly fell about twenty feet off a cliff and is not able to move.

Officials said the accident happened on Saturday at about 5 p.m. at Munra Point Trail.

A rescue team has responded and will determine if a rope rescue to evacuate the patient will be necessary.



The Munra Point Trail is about a 5.6 mile trail located near Cascade Locks and is rated as difficult. The trail is primarily used for hiking and is accessible from April until June.
