CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - Authorities say they have rescued about 60 Shar-Peis from a condemned house in Berkeley County and arrested four dog breeders.

The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office said Friday that it has charged four people with felony counts of ill treatment of an animal, according to the The Post and Courier of Charleston (https://bit.ly/1CYxD6r ).

The dogs were taken to the Doc Williams SPCA in Moncks Corner.
