AUGUSTA, Maine (AP) - Maine police have charged 2 men with armed robbery after what they say was a drug-related robbery in Augusta.

Augusta police say they have charged Tyler Wayne Robinson and Samuel Smith in connection with a robbery at a Laurel Street home Friday night.

WCSH6 reports (https://on.wcsh6.com/1bgKgCX ) that both men are charged with robbery. Robinson is also charged with possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, refusing arrest, violating probation and drug possession.

Police say the men entered the home and displayed a weapon.

Both men are being held at the Kennebec County Jail. It was not immediately known if they have lawyers.
