WASILLA, Alaska (AP) - Two Wasilla residents suspected of at least six burglaries are been charged with felony theft and burglary.

Alaska State Troopers say a home and storage unit belonging to 35-year-old Timothy W. Taylor and 31-year-old Linda Friend contained 35 stolen guns, rare paintings, sporting goods, tools, passports, birth certificates and credit cards.

Troopers say Taylor worked for Harding Ranch Meats and at least one burglary victim was a previous customer of the company that solicits meat orders and delivers them to homes.

The value of recovered items was estimated at $20,000. Troopers say many items had high sentimental value to their owners.

Troopers say Taylor and Friend also are suspected of stealing mail from mailboxes.

Arrest warrants have been issued for two other adults.

Taylor and Friend remained jailed Sunday.
