BALTIMORE (AP) - Baltimore County police are investigating after an officer responding to a call struck a man and woman pushing a baby stroller.

Police say the officer was traveling on Security Boulevard at about 11 p.m. on Saturday for a report of an assault at Hot Skates on Whitehead Road. Police say the officer had sirens activated when he struck three pedestrians, including a baby in a stroller. Two people were taken to Johns Hopkins hospital and one was taken to Shock Trauma.

Police have not released the names of the officer or the pedestrians. Police say the office involved was not injured in the accident, and that the incident is under investigation.
