CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - The Business and Industry Association of New Hampshire is honoring local business leaders next month.

The association is presenting its “Above and Beyond” awards to 16 people across the state who have demonstrated outstanding service and commitment to its mission during the past year.

The recipients represent such fields as banking, chambers of commerce, manufacturing, utilities and lodging.

The event - part of the association’s annual meeting - is scheduled for May 7 at the Center of New Hampshire in Manchester.

“The ‘Above and Beyond’ awards recognize those individuals who have gone the extra mile and demonstrated an extraordinary willingness and commitment to helping the organization be successful and work to further its legislative and regulatory priorities,” said BIA President Jim Roche.

“Their contributions have really helped New Hampshire’s business community, and we appreciate the time and energy they have devoted to BIA in the past year,” Roche said.
