INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Police say a man walking on railroad tracks on the northeast side of Indianapolis was killed when he was struck by a CSX train.

When emergency personnel arrived about 4:30 a.m., the train was stopped and the man was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have not identified the victim.

The death remains under investigation Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
