EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) - The Michigan Journalism Hall of Fame will induct three new members on its 30th anniversary.

The ceremony will be Sunday at Michigan State University in East Lansing.

Former member of the state capital press corps Charlie Cain will be inducted posthumously. Cain worked 34 years for The Detroit News, including nearly two decades as the Lansing bureau chief. His career included covering six presidential nominating conventions.

He died in 2011. His father, the late Charles Cain, a longtime reporter and editor for The Associated Press in Detroit also is a member of the Michigan Journalism Hall of Fame.

Author and former Detroit News columnist Betty DeRamus also will be inducted Sunday, along with underground press pioneer, broadcaster and documentarian Harvey Ovshinsky.
