IOTA, La. (AP) - State police say an Elton woman died when her car struck another vehicle on Interstate 10 just west of Iota in Acadia Parish.
Troopers identified the victim as 29-year-old Emily Tramel.
Investigators say after Tramel’s car struck a second car from behind, it ran off the highway and hit a tree shortly after 1:30 a.m. Sunday.
The driver of the second car suffered minor injuries.
