WARWICK, Mass. (AP) - Authorities are investigating the death of a 28-year-old man in an all-terrain vehicle accident in western Massachusetts.
The district attorney’s office says a male riding an ATV in the Franklin County town of Warwick along the New Hampshire border died in an accident at about 4 p.m. Sunday.
A spokeswoman for state Environmental Police say two responding officers from the agency found the victim dead at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet and alcohol was ruled out as a factor.
The man was from nearby Gill, but his name was not immediately made public.
Environmental police are being assisted by Warwick and state police in the investigation.
