POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) - Construction on a new $5.4 million headquarters for Idaho State Police in southeast Idaho is scheduled to start in August in Pocatello.
The Idaho State Journal reports (https://bit.ly/1H82TpK) that the 24,000-square-foot facility will allow the agency to centralize operations.
Capt. Eric Dayley says the new headquarters will hold patrol, investigations, training and forensic laboratory divisions.
Currently the divisions are housed in three different buildings in Pocatello.
The new building is scheduled to be finished in 2016.
